"Assuming the inherent opposition in a fight, the unification of ki is achieved through two fundamental aspects: complete immersion in the other, transforming us, in turn, into their core. By becoming the core of the other, our own core, being a real and active entity, achieves true unification.

Thus, the other is respected in an absolute way. In this process, our ego dissolves to some extent, but this total surrender to the other is guided by our 'Hara', our vital core.

This makes us the core of the whole, and, ultimately, absolute respect for the other becomes an absolute affirmation of oneself.

This, I believe, is the most central message of our activity."
